I had some great finds for my antique booth in December. It was so crazy around here that I didn't get a chance to share them with you before now. These pieces were so beautiful that I had to show you now.
First of all is this gorgeous antique oak dresser. I don't have the mirror put together in this
picture, because I was missing some hardware, but it is fixed now. There are two side supports that have
a mirror suspended in the middle. I love the little piece of marble in the center.
It just dresses it up so beautifully.
The pulls are the coolest part, they are handcarved leaves with some fruit and nuts, I think?
The next piece (which came from the same estate sale as the dresser) is
this lovely oak china cabinet with the curved glass front and glass shelves.
Isn't she pretty?
And finally, this trestle table. Sorry, this is not the best picture, but the entire base of this
table comes completely apart for transporting. Not ony would this be a great kitchen or dining table,
but I think it would make a wonderful desk.
I may have to restage it if it is still around this weekend.
I have so many painting projects going on, so it was nice to find some things that were ready to sell.
I always love to hear your comments, and don't forget
Restyled Sundays is still going on here until Friday night.

Those are gorgeous pieces of furniture. I really like the dresser.
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are gorgeous finds! They all are beautiful, but I think I would have the most fun with the trestle table. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI saw that dresser and just had to comment. I bought one very similiar with the exact same handles and with a tilt mirror for my daughter's room. I'm pretty sure mine dates to the Civil War. Cool history, huh? a new follower, andrea@townandprairie
ReplyDeleteOh Ann! That dresser is truly GORGEOUS! Love the details. I bet it sells quickly! Thank you for joining TTF and have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat great pieces you found! Wish I could see your antique booth in person! Linda
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous, Ann. Lucky you for finding them. I have a booth too and will be extending it to add furniture in Feb. My fave is the oak dresser. I am sure they will all sell quickly..Christine
ReplyDeleteGreat furniture. Like the carved handles. You're right, the marble makes the piece.
ReplyDeleteI was excited to see this dresser on your blog as I bought this exact dresser about 20 years ago and refinished it. I don't have the drawers that sit on top nor the mirror (wish I did). It sits in my dining room as storage for my table linens. But, I don't think it is oak - maybe cherry or walnut. I have a hard time distinguising between these 2 woods.
ReplyDeletePS: I bought the dresser in Louisville, KY
