Slip On A Flirty Little Skirt

This is my first slipcover ever!
I am so glad it is finished and I am really happy with it.
I found this cute chair at an estate sale.
I thought she had such pretty legs and arms,
but her dress was getting a little worn out.

There were a few challenges to work out, like trying to wrap around her arms!

Some little ties hold her together.

And a flirty little pleated skirt shows off her legs.

Now she is all dressed up and ready to go to a new home!

Now for an update: I have been featured at Pink and Polka Dot, yeah! I am so excited! Linking to these parties:

  5. Love this! I'm about to try my first slipcover attempt and I'm terrified! But the chair is hideous and needs a face lift so it is a MUST! Great job! Thanks for sharing

  6. That is terrific especially for your first time. I am not a seamstress so it would be challenging for me. Thanks for joining WUW.
